Le projet The Simpsons – Horror Show est une affiche graphique qui reprend les codes visuels de la série The Simpsons, en particulier ceux des épisodes spéciaux Horror Show, afin de créer un mème visuel. Cette affiche mêle satire, critique sociale et fausses prédictions pour dénoncer les fake news, la manipulation politique et l’absurdité des médias américains. Ce projet montre alors comment l’univers de The Simpsons continue, encore aujourd’hui, à inspirer les mèmes, à faire réfléchir et à faire réagir, notamment à travers les réseaux sociaux et la culture Internet. À travers cette affiche, je caricature Donald Trump, en m’inspirant d’un discours prononcé au National Constitution Center de Philadelphie, le 10 septembre 2024, lors du débat présidentiel face à Kamala Harris.
The project The Simpsons – Horror Show is a graphic poster that draws on the visual codes of the series The Simpsons, especially those from the special Horror Show episodes, to create a visual meme. The poster combines satire, social commentary, and fake predictions to denounce fake news, political manipulation, and the absurdity of American media. This project highlights how The Simpsons universe still, today, inspires memes, provokes thought, and sparks reactions, particularly through social media and Internet culture. Through this poster, I caricature Donald Trump, based on a speech he gave at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia on September 10, 2024, during the presidential debate against Kamala Harris.
